Through my 10+ years as a certified medical biller and coder, and through personal experience with AAPC certification exams - I have gathered the most current information and used the guidelines that are listed in the ICD-10-CM (Expert) 2026 and 2026 CPT Professional books condensed them down into a simpler format. These notes are super helpful and easy to reference if you plan on taking the CPC or CPB exam and/or for other use.
These notes are primarily applicable to the CPC exam administered by AAPC, but can be used for auditing purposes, CPB exam, and/or other profession coding purposes.
